Approximately 60 canvases, 12 x 24’’ each, are being prepared to create an illustrated collage of the history of the river. The river, represented by a blue line, will weave through the entire assemblage. Sue Hand plans to exhibit the illustrated map in sections, enhanced by the paintings she is producing for the other four sections: watercolor, oil, aquarelle acrylic, and combined watercolor/colored pencil images of the Susquehanna. |
